GPS User Equipment SAASM Engineer/Analyst
Description
Plan and execute activities for the development and sustainment of the Selective Availability Anti-Spoofing Module (SAASM) and its integration into military Global Positioning System (GPS) Precise Positioning Service (PPS) User Equipment (UE). Provide technical guidance and expertise on the development and sustainment of the SAASM Key Data Processor (KDP). Develop or revise SAASM KDP specifications and related technical documents. Interpret and apply the DoD GPS Security Policy, Security Doctrine for GPS PPS User Segment Equipment, and related security guidance documents. Assist in the development or revision of GPS UE and SAASM security requirements documents, security evaluation documents, and other related security documents. Perform GPS PPS UE and SAASM security design reviews to ensure compliance with the applicable security requirements.

Education and Experience
BS degree plus 10 years of relevant experience or MS degree plus 5 years of relevant experience.
Qualifications
Technical knowledge of GPS PPS UE and SAASM. Technical knowledge of cryptographic keys and processors. Understanding of GPS PPS UE security policies and requirements. Experience with security evaluation and certification of GPS PPS UE, SAASM, and/or cryptography.
