Systems Engineer (NM11-06)
Description
Experience in systems engineering methodology including requirements analysis, definition and verification, critical method updates, mission analysis, operational concept development, trade studies as well as systems integration and test. Able to perform risk assessments and identify risk mitigation plans. Support technical working groups.
Location
Kirtland AFB (Albuquerque), NM or Colorado Springs, CO or Washington, DC, area.
Education and Experience
BS degree with 5+ years of systems engineering experience or 3 years of professional experience with related masters degree. Knowledge of satellite ground stations, GPS domain preferred. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, presentation, and customer communication skills. Skill level mid-range.
Qualifications
Unix knowledge. Background in Kalman filtering, satellite modeling techniques, physics, math, MATLAB, Satellite Tool Kit (STK).
Required
Must be US Government Security Clearance Eligible. Flexibility for travel.
